Is it Time to Take the Leap?
According to a Harris Poll, 39% of working Americans who do not currently own a business hope to do so in the future. However, the actual percentage of working age Americans who are starting or running a new business is 14% (Global Entrepreneurship Monitor). So, what gives? Why the disparity?
The dream of entrepreneurship for many people remains only a dream for any number of reasons. There’s never a perfect time to strike out on your own….maybe you have student loans to pay off or you are up for a promotion and a raise or you have a big vacation planned? The reasons are almost limitless.
Clearly the passion to be an entrepreneur burns in many people. I think one of the biggest reasons people have a hard time taking the leap is because they do not know where to start. The process of starting a business can be overwhelming and without a clear plan, goals, objectives, and a support system in place, many aspiring entrepreneurs can’t seem to get going.
I tackle the process of getting started through my Learning Modules and can offer you guidance through the process with my Ignition Plan. There is a method to the madness and you will learn that not only is this process manageable, it can be tremendously satisfying and fun.
