What it means to me to be an Entrepreneur In Residence
One of the core tenants behind building this community at StartUp BreakDown was to provide an avenue for accessible mentorship for budding entrepreneurs. This is a role that I play both online and offline, as an Entrepreneur In Residence (“EIR”) at Carnegie Mellon University, within the Swartz Center for Entrepreneurship. The Swartz Center is the university’s central hub for education, engagement, collaboration and opportunity. Currently, I am one of three EIRs, we work across disciplines within Carnegie Mellon’s breadth of talented undergraduate and graduate student body.

As a reminder, I’ve built a set of self-guided tools called the StartUp BreakDown, if you’re building a business, or have an idea and are looking for help getting starter. Once you’ve mastered the foundation, access my Ignition Plans for personalized, 1-on-1, guidance.
